Day at the Atomium

The day before his ninth birthday, I took Simon on a day out in Brussels. Though it's another story, I took the Thalys from Paris yesterday and got accommodated in an amazing private flat of a hotel.

After I decided that a bus tour would be a good idea, Simon took us off the bus at the Atomium and we filled the day there. The photos show the mini-buildings park next door. There's actually quite a lot to do there - it's not just a trip through metal balls.

His grandmother picked him up and took him home after he showed off his QPR mutzi.
