President Obama

It was a fantastic day today as George Bush departed office and Barack Obama become President. My apartment here in Paris is TV-less but both CNN and the BBC were kind enough to stream the inaugeration over the web.

It was great being able to connect with the world via Facebook as the evening went on.

At the time of the previous inaugeration in 2001 there was no such thing as social networking and the one before that (Clinton in 1993) was at the birth of the web.
